Do LED light bulbs get hot?

LED do get hot, but it is nowhere near the hotness of CFLs and Incandescent bulbs. It is because they use energy very efficiently. They light up the room brightly without wasting a lot of electricity into heat energy. Even though these lights still get a bit warm to touch, but the heat is safely dispersed into the environment using a heat sink, that is usually placed in the back of LEDs.
